What is the difference between a Personal Chef and a Private Chef?
A Private Chef is employed by one individual or family full time, and is often "living in" and preparing up to three meals a day.
A
Personal Chef serves several clients and provides multiple meals that are custom designed for the clients particular requests and requirements.
These meals are prepared in the clients own home, packaged and stored so the client may enjoy them at their own leisure.
Do you cook in my kitchen?
Yes, because of Health Department Regulations I will prepare your meals in the safety of your own kitchen. On our agreed upon cooking date I will shop
for and bring the fresh ingredients along with the equipment necessary to prepare your meals on site. I will cook, cool, package, label & store your
meals appropriately. I will then leave your kitchen clean and leave behind only the delicious aroma of a home cooked meal.
How long will you be here?
I will be cooking several different entrees and side dishes from scratch, so it will take several hours, exactly how long depends on many variables.
When  scheduling your cook date and time we will make arrangements which will be most compatible with your schedule or situation.
Do I need to be home while you are cooking?
The choice to be home or not during your cook date is entirely up to you.
How much refrigerator or freezer space do I need?
It depends on the number of meals you request and the size of the containers, but it does generally require a considerable amount of space. We can
take a look at your storage capabilities during our consultation and move forward from there. Efficient storage is one reason it is important to select the
appropriate uniform-sized storage containers for your service.
Can I choose the frequency of service?
Yes. Custom Cuisine Solutions is happy to tailor our service to your needs...weekly, bi-weekly , monthly or otherwise. During your consultation we will
discuss the frequency which will best suit your needs, making sure it supports your busy lifestyle while not putting any pressure on you.
Is it okay to watch or be in the kitchen?
Certainly.
Are you licensed and insured?
coverage for bodily injury and property damage.
